Ive been in New York for three weeks ordering from several different delivery places for Japanese food and this is the only one that has been good. The quality of the food at Torishin kitchen is really authentic and the presentation is so beautiful. It is expensive without a doubt but it gave me so much joy to come back to this after a long day of work. I ordered the big eater, but got through about 3/4 of it myself. I could have eaten it all had it not been midnight when I got back to my hotel. I would definitely order from them again!

Food was hot and tasted as close as you could get to being in the restaurant for delivery. Lot of care taken with the order and delivered within the shortest estimated delivery time. Quality of food was great as well!

I wish they had more vegetable dishes such as roasted shishito oR asparagus. I also want them to carry some bottled green teas'.

Our missionin Japanese, "Tori" means "chicken" or "bird" and "Shin" means "spirit". Torishin is a Japanese yakitori (grilled chicken) restaurant, but its not just an ordinary restaurant. Torishin started its history in Tokyo, Japan, and earned compliments from our clients in the fiercely competitive Tokyo dining scene. Our dream was to share this Tokyo experience with the Big Apple when we opened our first restaurant in 27 on First Avenue. Since then Torishin reputation has grown and been rewarded with popular acclaim from diners and a covenanted Michelin star. Our mission is to provide the most authentic Tokyo style yakitori to our clients using ingredients of uncompromisingly high quality. Hence our name, torishin. Please visit us and experience the real yakitori from Japan.
